Adult clay workshop, beginner's level, August 2, 3, and 9, 10 a.m. -12:30 p.m.  Learn small slab construction, creating a bowl or mug, and then glaze it the following week.  We will learn a couple of decorating methods, and making a handle.   $25 fee includes supplies.  Register at Parks and Rec pool at 509-773-0506. Total Solar Eclipse – Goldendale Viewing Stations

On Aug. 21, 2017, American skywatchers will be treated to a rare and spectacular celestial show — the first total solar eclipse visible from the continental United States in nearly four decades. Goldendale is slightly north of the Path of Totality and will experience 98% coverage! View the eclipse at the following viewing stations in Goldendale: Goldendale Observatory (Shuttle bus from the High School), Stonehenge Memorial, Maryhill Museum of Art,  Maryhill Winery, and the Klickitat County Court House lawn.
