What are The GOLDYS

The Goldys Awards are the Greater Goldendale Area Chamber of Commerce’s signature celebration of excellence. Each year, the Chamber recognizes the businesses, individuals, and organizations that go above and beyond to strengthen our community. These awards highlight leadership, innovation, service, and revitalization — honoring those who set the standard for what it means to make the Greater Goldendale Area a truly exceptional place to live, work, and visit.

The community plays an active role in this process. Nominations and voting are open to the public, ensuring that the winners of The Goldys truly reflect the voices, values, and pride of the Greater Goldendale Area.

When are the winners announced?

Winners of The Goldys Awards will be revealed at the Goldys Gala – Clues & Commerce: A Roaring 20s Mystery on October 16, 2025, hosted at The Lodge – A Goldendale Venue Like No Other.

This special evening will include a self-serve dinner buffet, drinks, networking, an interactive murder mystery experience, and of course, the presentation of this year’s Goldys Award winners.

Attendance is not limited to Chamber members — the Goldys Gala is open to anyone in the community who wishes to attend. Whether you’re a member, a local resident, or simply someone who wants to celebrate the best of the Greater Goldendale Area, you are welcome to join us for this new annual tradition.

Citizen of the Year Nominees

The Citizen of the Year Award recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond for the betterment of our community. Their actions, volunteerism, and commitment make the Greater Goldendale Areas a better place to live, work, and thrive.

This award is unique in that it is Klickitat County Citizen, not just Chamber members. The nominees were put forward by community members who wanted to honor their hard work, dedication, and positive impact on our area. From tireless volunteers to passionate advocates, these are the people who embody the heart of our community.

Below are the bios for some of the nominees we have been able to contact. Please note that not all nominees have submitted bios, so some may be missing from this list.

Taletha Wagoner

Citizen of the Year nominee, Taletha Adeline Wagoner

"I grew up in the two small neighboring towns of Camas/Washougal Washington in the early years of my life. I moved to Goldendale, Wa in September 2019 and other than runs to the city for what is needed have never left.

I became actively involved in our community during the early years of covid selling my handmade covid masks to make money to buy PPE's on the black. market for essential workers when there was a national shortage of supplies in fact I made 2,748 masks in 3 months and donated 1,800 to hospitals around Portland and Vancouver.

I also had the opportunity being on the Art At The Heart of Goldendale team for two years and participated in projects around town, assisting in painting the park benches and various other projects. My greatest joy besides The Golden Giving Tree, was when I got to spend a few months painting the Space Mural downtown with the lead artists "The Grey's"

In 2023 I launched The Golden Giving Tree, A Sponsoring Tree to help provide all the families in need of Christmas Gifts for their children under the age of 18 years. Last year I started my first fund-raising event for the The Golden Giving Tree and the tree had a record of over 280 kids last Christmas which was the largest year since I began this charity and I hope this coming year will bring even more.

A year ago I started a new project in cleaning the Viewpoint off of Hwy. 97 and in doing so I have met a lot of people from Goldendale, a few who began adopting other areas along our town to clean, and that thrills me to know that one act of kindness can start a movement of goodness in our amazing community.

In addition to these activities I participated in over the last 6 years, you could always find me providing free rides in the Shaggin' Wagon to people in need around my community and helping the homeless on our streets with essentials when they are in need.

A few of my favorite hobbies are Crowd influencing at Punk Rock Shows, writing, creating art and interactive interviewing interesting people for my up and coming Pod Cast Show to be debuted soon. I love visiting my friends and their furry friends and taking care of friend's chickens, Gardening. Most of all, I love living my best

life. My purpose in life is helping anyone I can, and if I can put a smile on just one persons face everyday then I feel I am living my purpose in the beautiful Golden Lands of the Dale. Thank you for the honor of this nomination.

Kristi Siebert

Citizen of the Year nominee, Kristi Siebert.

Kristi Siebert Moved to Goldendale 26 years ago where her and her husband have raised 2 amazing successful boys and work beside them in Siebert Excavating and Siebert Custom Slaughter and Meats. She was a horse trainer and clinician for 25 years. She now owns and operates Rafter 2 S Ranch with my husband Chris Siebert, Siebert Meats LLC and are co owners of Sole 2 Soul Health Center with (Steven Kathyjo Randall)and co founder of Goldendale Rodeo Bible Camp and have been serving God in that ministry for 16 years. Her passion is to uplift and encourage people to do what they believe is not possible, to be a community member that is proud to live in our little piece of Heaven here in Goldendale and to stand behind and beside her family as they grow and promote agriculture, health and community.

Amanda Chambers

Citizen of the Year Nominee, Amanda Chambers.

Amanda Chambers is a licensed massage therapist and esthetician at Goldendale Chiropractic, where she combines her passion for wellness with personalized care for her clients. She manages scheduling for her husband’s equine adjusting clients. She further supports equine athletes through cold laser rehab therapy. Beyond her professional work, Amanda is deeply involved in her community. She currently serves as the coordinator of the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo Queen and the Alder Creek Pioneer Rodeo Queen program. Amanda is also a member of the Klickitat County Rodeo Committee and supports the fair board with social media outreach. She and her husband, Dr. Mason Chambers DC, are raising their 4 year old daughter Steely. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, barrel racing, and traveling to rodeos with her husband and daughter.

Dawn Mulrony

Citizen of the Year Nominee, Dawn Mulrony

Dawn Mulrony is a seasoned entrepreneur, proud mother, and lifelong resident of Klickitat County, where her family has lived for generations. At 43, she has built a reputation as a dedicated multi-business owner whose work is fueled by both hometown pride and a deep commitment to community connection.

Her hometown business, Crossroads Coffee, has grown into more than just a coffee shop—it’s a welcoming place where neighbors meet, friendships are built, and local stories are shared. Dawn’s vision for Crossroads Coffee was simple: to create a space that feels like you always have a friend while celebrating the strength of small-town life. Her entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond coffee, as she has successfully managed and operated multiple ventures that strengthen her local economy.

Family is at the heart of everything Dawn does. She is the proud mom of two daughters: her oldest, 18, is pursuing a career in the trades at lineman school, while her youngest, just 5, is beginning her own journey in kindergarten. Dawn’s daughters inspire her daily, reminding her that every cup of coffee poured, every idea pursued, and every late night spent working is building a future rooted in love, resilience, and possibility.

Whether she’s serving her community through business, cheering on her daughters, or investing in the growth of Klickitat County, Dawn brings the same values to every role she takes on: authenticity, hard work, and a deep love for the place she calls home.

Trisha Atchley

Trisha Atchley – Citizen of the Year Nominee

Trisha Atchley is the owner of Fairy Godmother’s Events and the president of the Klickitat County Harvest Festival, a growing community celebration she co-created with local businesses to elevate Goldendale’s annual Trunk-or-Treat into a signature festival for the entire Gorge. Trisha is a creative force in the community, always looking for ways to bring joy, collaboration, and connection. She has helped paint a mural on the General Store building alongside Ashley Cooper of Field of Stars, leaving a lasting mark of color and inspiration in downtown Goldendale.

She also serves as a Goldendale Chamber of Commerce Board Director, where she shares her expertise in design, social media, and websites to support other businesses and organizations. Trisha’s dedication goes beyond her professional roles. She truly believes in building a strong, supportive community for her seven-year-old daughter and for all families in the Gorge. She emphasizes teamwork, knowing that thriving events and projects take many hands and big hearts.

Her vision, energy, and commitment to collaboration make her a shining example of leadership and service. “I love creating fun events for our community as well as collaborating with other businesses. Klickitat County Harvest Festival is an event I have created with others to elevate Trunk-or-Treat, and our goal is to grow it into a large event for the Gorge that drives people to our small town. I truly enjoy being part of what others are doing and try to support those in ways I can. Without community people like the ones I work with, I wouldn’t be able to create what I do—it truly takes a bunch of people to make a thriving event.”

Sandra Choate

Citizen of the Year Nominee, Sandra Choate

My husband and I moved to Goldendale 19 years ago from San Francisco,
where I was a horticulturist and park supervisor for the SF Recreation and
Parks Dept. In order to get to know our new community and make as many
new friends as possible I volunteered with as many groups and clubs as I
could. Over the years two of those groups have stayed with me and become
central to my life and close to my heart. Soroptimist International of
Goldendale, where I am currently serving as club president is one of those.
Our mission is to improve the lives of women and girls by investing in their
dreams and helping to remove obstacles to their education. I’ve helped
organize the annual Vintage Tea and Fashion Show for several years and it
has become one of the highlights of the year in our community and a
successful fundraiser.
My other passion is art and creating public access to art. I’ve served in the
past as president of the Golden Art Guild and as committee chair for the more
recent Art at the Heart of Goldendale committee, which through the Chamber
of Commerce has accomplished the beautiful Four Corners project
downtown, installing murals and mosaics in the heart of the town. Today I’m
very excited to be spearheading the new Creative District committee with the
goal of getting Goldendale certified by the State of Washington Arts
Commission as an official Creative District. This will provide economic
development benefits as well as amplifying and enhancing our local culture
and arts scene.
I am owner of Monkeyshines Studio and Gallery on Columbus Ave which is
a vintage and antique shop in the front and my mosaic art studio in the back,
where I create mosaics and teach classes. I have recently added a little
sharing library in front of the shop for anyone to take or trade books.
Some of my other volunteer endeavors have been with the KVH Hospice
program, Maryhill Museum, the clothing bank, the soup kitchen, and as a
lifetime member of the Friends of the Library.
I love our town and am excited to be a part of this community as we move
into the future.

Jacqueline Eide

Citizen of the Year Nominee, Jacqueline Eide

Jacqueline Eide is a local pharmacist, small business owner, and community leader proud to call Goldendale home. She owns Goldendale Pharmacy and Horizon Pharmacy in Wapato, where she and her team work hard to make healthcare simple, accessible, and personal. With experience in both chain and independent pharmacies, Jacqueline has focused on expanding services so families can get more of the care they need close to home.

In addition to her work in healthcare, Jacqueline serves as President of the Greater Goldendale Chamber of Commerce, where she supports local businesses and helps strengthen community connections. She is also active in pharmacy organizations and passionate about improving healthcare access in rural communities. Above all, Jacqueline values the relationships she builds with her patients and the chance to make a positive difference in the everyday health of Goldendale residents.

Danielle Clevidence

Citizen of the Year Nominee, Danielle Clevidence

After completing a thirty-year career in the United States Navy, where she retired as a
Command Master Chief and was awarded three Outstanding Volunteer Service Medals,
Danielle Clevidence and her husband chose Goldendale as their new home in 2020.
This move marked the beginning of an energetic new chapter for Danielle, defined by
deeper involvement and meaningful contributions to the community.
Faith, family, and civic responsibility form the cornerstone of Danielle's values. Her
devotion to God and her belief in the importance of family, even without children of her
own, have been expressed in her commitment to nurturing the next generation. She has
taught Religious Education to local 7th and 8th graders, imparting moral guidance and
encouragement.
Danielle’s loyalty to Veterans and their families is unwavering. She has devoted
countless volunteer hours at the American Legion, serving in a variety of roles that
support and honor those who have served the nation. Her spirit of service naturally
extended to the broader community. Desiring to do more and to address local needs,
Danielle ran for and was elected to the Goldendale City Council in 2023.
As a council member, Danielle serves on both the Budget and Events Committees. She
played a significant role in facilitating Community Days, a vibrant event that brought
together residents and showcased Goldendale’s civic pride. Her commitment to
economic development is further evidenced by her board membership with the Mid
Columbia Economic Development District (MCEDD), where she advocates for the
growth and success of local businesses.
Environmental stewardship is also at the heart of Danielle’s service. As a member of the
Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC), she has worked collaboratively to update the
Solid Waste Management Plan. Her efforts include recommending strategies for waste
reduction, recycling programs, and public education, all geared toward a cleaner, more
sustainable community.
Danielle’s passion for culture and beautification finds expression through her
involvement with Art at the Heart of Goldendale. Alongside a dynamic group of artists,
she helped plan and support murals at the city’s “four corners” and contributed to the
restoration and painting of downtown benches, enriching Goldendale’s visual
landscape.
Her dedication to community improvement extends to her work with the non-profit
Goldendale Community Enrichment (GCE). Partnering with Republic Services and the
county, she helps organize the annual city-wide cleanup, which successfully removes
tons of unwanted garbage, leaving the city cleaner and more welcoming.
Danielle also supports literacy and public safety as an active member of the Friends of
the Library and the Sheriff’s Posse. Her engagement in these groups highlights her holistic approach to civic duty—supporting education, the arts, the environment, and
community welfare.

Business Member of the Year Nominees

The Business Member of the Year Award recognizes a Chamber member business that goes above and beyond in leadership, customer service, and community involvement. This honor is given to a business that not only excels in their industry but also contributes to the growth and vitality of the Greater Goldendale Area. These nominees set the standard for what it means to be a committed and impactful Chamber member.

Community Trailblazer Nominees

The Community Trailblazer Award honors a Chamber member business or organization that challenges the status quo and forges new paths in innovation, advocacy, or community growth. Trailblazers are the risk-takers and visionaries who see possibilities where others see obstacles, and who help shape the future of our area through bold ideas and fearless leadership. These nominees inspire others by lighting the way forward and making a lasting impact on the Greater Goldendale Area.

The Glow Up Award celebrates a member business, agency, organization, or group that has made a significant and visible transformation within the Chamber’s service area.
