What are The GOLDYS
The Annual GOLDYS Awards are the Greater Goldendale Area Chamber of Commerce’s signature celebration of excellence. Building on the success of our inaugural event, we are proud to once again recognize the businesses, individuals, and organizations that go above and beyond to strengthen our community. These awards highlight leadership, innovation, service, and revitalization—honoring those who set the standard for what it means to make the Greater Goldendale Area a truly exceptional place to live, work, and visit.
The community plays an active role in this process. Nominations and voting are open to the public, ensuring that the winners of The Goldys truly reflect the voices, values, and pride of the Greater Goldendale Area.
Nominees and voting links will be added to the website on September 1st after chamber staff has the opportunity to review nominated individuals and member businesses.
When are the winners announced?
Winners of The Goldys Awards will be revealed at The GOLDYS Gala: Back to 1986 on October 23, 2026.

Whether you come dressed in your best '80s attire or simply ready to celebrate, it's sure to be a night to remember.
Attendance is not limited to Chamber members—the GOLDYS are open to everyone in the community. Whether you're a member, a local resident, or simply someone who wants to celebrate the best of the Greater Goldendale Area, we invite you to join us as we honor local excellence and celebrate four decades of community, business, and leadership.

Citizen of the Year
The Citizen of the Year Award recognizes an individual who goes above and beyond for the betterment of our community. Their actions, volunteerism, and commitment make the Greater Goldendale Areas a better place to live, work, and thrive.
This award is unique in that it is Klickitat County Citizen, not just Chamber members. The nominees were put forward by community members who wanted to honor their hard work, dedication, and positive impact on our area. From tireless volunteers to passionate advocates, these are the people who embody the heart of our community.

Business Member of the Year
The Business Member of the Year Award recognizes a Chamber member business that goes above and beyond in leadership, customer service, and community involvement. Community Trailblazer Nominees
The Community Trailblazer Award honors a Chamber member business or organization that challenges the status quo and forges new paths in innovation, advocacy, or community growth. Trailblazers are the risk-takers and visionaries who see possibilities where others see obstacles, and who help shape the future of our area through bold ideas and fearless leadership. These nominees inspire others by lighting the way forward and making a lasting impact on the Greater Goldendale Area.
The “Glow Up” Award (Revitalization Recognition)
The Glow Up Award celebrates a member business, agency, organization, or group that has made a significant and visible transformation within the Chamber’s service area. Whether through physical renovations, revitalized programs, or renewed community engagement, these nominees have breathed new life into their work and inspired others with their transformation. This award honors the power of growth, resilience, and reinvention in the Greater Goldendale Area.
